Ground Beef and Twice Baked Potato Pie

1 pound ground beef
1/4 cup chopped onion
1/4 cup seasoned break crumbs
1 egg
5-6 Idaho potatoes peeled and chopped, ready to boil.
1 can evaporated milk
1/4 cup butter or margarine, melted
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/4 cup chopped fresh tomato
2 slices bacon, cooked and chopped
2 medium green onions.

1. Heat oven to 350. In large bowl, mix beef, onion, bread crumbs, egg until well blended. Press in bottom of ungreased 2 quart baking dish.
2. Boil potatoes until soft. Drain and mash with evaporated milk and butter. Spread evenly over ground beef mixture in baking dish. Sprinkle evenly with cheese.
3. Bake uncovered about 50 minutes or until mean thermometer inserted in the center of beef mixture reads 160. Sprinkle with tomato, bacon and green onion.
